Behind the fountains is the Palau Nacional a spectacular piece of architecture in Barcelona. There are also lovely gardens to wander around and great views looking across the whole of Barcelona city.  The Palau is on the edge of Montjuic, where the famous Olympic stadium from the Barcelona 1992 Olympics, now the temporary home to Espanyol, Barcelona´s other football team (though not to be forgotten!!).  The apartment is also close to Camp Nou, home of Barcelona FC.
