One of the larger holiday apartments in Barcelona, it is close to the Miro Parc, Placa Espanya, Olympic Stadium and Montjuic (a great place for kids to run around) and the Montjuic castle.  Gaudi has not been ignored either, with some Gaudiesque floor tiling, a feature which enhances this apartment.  The apartment is light and spacious.  It is also well laid out giving flexible accommodation.

Doors from the lounge lead to two small enclosed terraces which catch the afternoon sun.  These terraces are a GREAT place to relax after a busy days sightseeing, giving you the chance to recover before going out for the evening.

In the kitchen there is a ceramic hob, oven and microwave as well as a large fridge freezer.

Overall this apartment has a nice "feel" and is a little bit home from home.  We like it.

The Metro station Rocafort  (Line 1) is only 1 minute from the apartment.  This is on the red line.  Placa Espanya ( 5 minutes walk) has several metro lines and a Train Station.  From Placa Espanya, for example you can catch the train to Montserrat, the monestary on the mountain outside of Barcelona.  From close to the apartment there is a bus direct to the beach.  Barcelona buses are clean, air-conditioned and run both regularly and on time.

The entrance to the building is clean and inviting.  It is a safe and secure area and apartment also has a part time Portero (Doorman).
